Why would anyone these days ever issue a public apology? There's no upside. At least when I apologize to my wife she has sex with me. But apologizing to the public? You lose your job, future prospects, your dignity. And, most importantly, you get no booty. That's why I only apologize to my wife.
Go fuck yourself, Public. That's what you'd have me do anyway.
