How about this compromise?
If you took out a student loan on or before November 16, 2020 your debt will be forgiven.
But if you take out a loan from November 17, 2020 on--to attend college and study something with little to no future job prospects and no chance of ever paying back your loan--you're fucked. And rightfully so.
