Elizabeth Warren's play for votes and inclusivity: "Every person in America should be able to go to college without being crushed by student debt even though every person in America is not qualified to attend college."
Right now a potential college student can look up the cost of their college of choice, get a breakdown of the repayments for any loans they may take out, and research how much the industry they want to get into pays.
#CancelStudentDebt has been a hashtag for a while now. You should be aware of this. So if you're still deciding to take out loans to study in a field that doesn't pay, well, I think that's on you, kid.
If you're not ready to go all the way with me on this how about this baby step? At the very least students should stop taking out insane student loans to attend private universities when they can get the same education and for a lot less from state schools.
